Well, the cake turned out fabulously! We topped it with whipped cream and raspberries and it was yummy! Thanks so much for sharing the recipe, Candice. :)

stimps: Totally! It took us quite a while to finish it off, but it was so good. Raspberries would have been yummy with it, or really any berry!

Keltie: That's awesome, hehe! Glad this recipe could help. And I doubt rice flour will be an issue, it might just make it look a bit less dark chocolate-y. It's so little flour that you won't notice a texture or flavour difference. The most important thing is to use good quality chocolate. :) Oh and yes, you will be seeing us Sunday I hope!

I'm baking this right now! Tomorrow is Essie's birthday get-together and there will be egg allergic plus gluten intolerant people present, so I decided to go nuts and bake a cake. ME! Bake a cake!?! Ha ha.

I couldn't find buckwheat flour tonight so I subbed brown rice flour which may end in disaster but I suspect not. I also used regular milk since there aren't any dairy issues with anyone. I'll let you know how it turned out. I guess we'll be seeing you and Rich on Sunday night? Can hardly wait!

Flourless chocolate cake is SO GOOD. I only make it when we have a lot of company because it's so rich, we can't finish it ourselves. =) I recommend raspberries on top!
